Here’s to the educators!

Print Article

Last week was Educator Appreciation Week. It was a great opportunity to thank the staff in the Kellogg School District for their hard work and care they provide to our students. Although I missed visiting with a few staff, I did get to thank nearly all, about 220, of them. I was overwhelmed with the outpouring of pride they each expressed.

Kellogg School District is extremely fortunate to have so many professionals who cook, clean, teach, manage, drive, comfort, encourage, and up-lift our students daily. Of course, they get paid to do their jobs, but there’s not enough pay to go around to compensate them for all they do for us in our district.

I am so fortunate to be part of this positive workforce. I congratulate them and send my respect and admiration to each and every one of them.

Nancy J. Larsen,

Kellogg
