Getting to know David Sherman

Print Article

Lynn Mogensen is well known around Wallace, both because of her work with the U.S. Postal Service and for her long service on the city council.

I’m quite sure she’d make a solid mayor.

The other candidate, David Sherman, is perhaps less generally well-known.

I’ve followed him on Facebook for some time and find his writings to be thoughtful, erudite, and sensible.

I’m also aware that he would bring a strong premium on building Wallace’s historical “capital” to the mayor’s office.

Therefore, I’m hoping that my neighbors and Wallace voters in general will spend a little time to familiarize themselves with his candidacy — a good place to start is his candidate’s statement at http://www.placercenter.com/.

Friending him on Facebook is also a good idea.
