Sprucin up Pinehurst

We are at it again, “Sprucin up Pinehurst” with hanging baskets, flower pots and shrubs throughout the town.

The winner of our hanging basket raffle was Heather Swan, congrats to you and I’m sure you’ll enjoy your basket as much as we enjoy the city’s.

The front of city hall was given a new look last year and this year it’s in great shape and full of blooms.

This is our fourth year and thanks to donors and volunteers we are looking more beautiful again.

Donors and volunteers are as follows: Pinehurst/Kingston Lions Club, City of Pinehurst, Carla Ross, City Street Department Dave Olsen and Calvin Rich, Amy Jutila, Dr. Scott Reed, Cheryl Reagan, Our Saviour Lutheran Church, Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses, Bill Cleveland, Carol McCarver, Robin Davis, Lois Arvidson, Art and Sherry Krulitz, Ardis Marmon, Pat and Sharon Hewitt, Herb and Marylou Kinsey, Kathleen Joyner. Lowan Smith, Wilma Dorton, Sharon Asher, Maddy Johnson, Tashawa Seaton, Eldon and Connie Lassle, Inge McNutt, Marianna Groth, Casey Elam and Nancie Burkhart.

Thanks to all who have supported us with volunteering and donations, without you we could not do this.

We appreciate all the kudos, waves, thumbs up, horn honks and stopping by to say hello.

Several times we’ve had tourists and visitors to our town stop by and comment on what a pretty, nice and friendly town we have.

We all feel we are lucky to live here in Pinehurst and be a part of the beautiful Silver Valley with its wonderful people.

IF you would like to help in any way call Nancie Burkhart at 682-4027 or Pinehurst City Hall at 682-3721.

Again thanks so much for your support.
