• Free blood Lead screening at the Shoshone Medical Center from 9 a.m. to noon. $30 incentive for each child 6 months to 6 years residing in the Bunker Hill Superfund boundaries. • Silver Valley Showdown Amateur Boxing Event at Silver mountain at 4 p.m. Teams from the Northwest and Canada bring exciting action to the Silver Valley. Event benefits the Silver Valley Boxing Club. Contact Colleen at the Silver Valley Chamber of Commerce for tickets.

• BEIPC quarterly meeting and annual Coeur d’Alene Basin Cleanup tour from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. starting at 35 Wildcat Way, Kellogg. Agenda includes Lake Management plan update, site funding and CDA trust operational funding update, and Citizens Coordinating Council update and comments.

• Yoga in the Garden series at 6 p.m. at French Gulch Farm and Garden, 240 West Fork French Gulch, Kingston.

Thursday, Aug. 17

• Pinochle game at the Kellogg Senior Center from 12 to 2 p.m. Event repeats every Thursday.

Friday, Aug. 18

• Live Music at the Fainting Goat from 6 to 9 p.m. Featuring Jim Myers, Acoustic Jazz.

• Live music at the Snake Pit from 7 to 9 p.m. Enjoy Moses Willey.

• First day of the Wallace Huckleberry Festival and 5K run/walk.

• Friday night dance at the Kellogg Senior Center from 7 to 10 p.m. every Friday. Music by Jerry and Faith.

• Free community movie night at Gene Day Park in Osburn. Movies will begin at dusk Friday and Saturday nights throughout the summer. The event will be canceled if it is raining.
